Our Fave Spaces To Sip, Stay & Play In 2018
2018. It was the year of the Commonwealth Games, of going new places and trying all of the new places popping up on every corner. With so much to do, so much to see and so much to eat we were never short of things to do, so we thought we'd compile a list of all of our favourites from 2018. Whether it was watching a show, enjoying art or sipping champagne, we had a fabulous time last year!
Feasts, Festivities & Royal Fashion Faves!
Well, it's official - It's 2019! Over the past 365 days we've celebrated diversity at the Commonwealth Games, eaten our way around the Gold Coast, enjoyed theatrical talent at the Home of the Arts and spent way too much time at the beach soaking up the sun. We said goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019 with a bang, and now it's time to step into the new year and all of the magic that it will bring. 2019 already has shows, food, fashion and culture in spades - And we can't wait to see what else this year will bring!
We’ve all been there. Waking up at midday, bleary eyed, a jackhammer pounding in your head, sweating, even though the air-con has frozen the Doritos you left out overnight. All sure-fire signs of a hangover. And you had how many tequila shots last night? Seriously? Don’t you remember what happened last time. Oh, I suppose not. Well, fear not, it may feel like you’re dying, but there are plenty of hangover remedies: from mountains of greasy food, to sweating it out on a run (if you can even move), to a classic hair of the dog. Luckily, the Gold Coast has a bit of everything to cure your hangover blues. Just remember to put your sunnies on, it’s bright outside.
For Sand-Lovers and Tree-Huggers
We’re pretty spoilt when it comes to crystal clear beaches and greenery and everybody knows it. Ever tried to visit Burleigh Beach on a Saturday or nab a spot on the hill come Sunday afternoon? If crowds aren’t your style, but you’re in need of a scenic spot, get your space in one of these places.
