Top Five Classic Christmas Movies

Christmas is fast approaching. With less than a week until the big man comes down the chimney, it’s time to binge watch these iconic Christmas films. Grab your popcorn and find a comfy seat on the couch to enjoy these classics. Happy holidays!

1. Elf

No matter what age you are, the movie Elf is a go-to Christmas film. With Will Ferrell as the star, you're guaranteed to laugh your socks (and Christmas hats) off. If you're feeling brave you could recreate Buddy the Elf's breakfast pasta...

2. Love Actually

A feel good romantic film that never gets old. Following eight different couples during Christmas time, this movie can be rewatched year after year without ever getting sick of it.

3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

This is probably my number one Christmas movie pick. Jim Carrey aces his role as the Grinch, and the people of Whoville and their extravagant Christmas spirit is contagious. It gets me every time...

4. Home Alone

If you haven't watched Home Alone at least once in your life, you haven't lived! It gets shown on television around Christmas time every year and is hilariously entertaining, despite being totally unrealistic.

5. The Polar Express

I will always remember when my grandparents took my brothers and I to see this film at the cinemas. It was such a beautiful and magical experience, and to this day I still get that warm feeling inside when watching The Polar Express.

During the week, when she’s not holed up in her room studying, you’ll find her brunching at cute cafes, trying to get a tan at the beach or playing soccer.
