Aprils come and Aprils go and each year we find ourselves pondering the age-old dilemma: prank or be pranked? It’s easy to be on the receiving end of a prank, all you really have to do is continue haplessly along with your day.
LOL at Brisbane Comedy Fest Gold
He’s back baybaaayyyy! Paul Foot has touched down in Brisbane and took the Brisbane Comedy Festival by the cojones. In his new show, Paul considered the unique predicament of soft-shell crabs as well as the numerous problems that arise from organising a suburban orgy (the catering is an absolute nightmare!). We spent the evening pondering life’s imponderables with Paul, and bring a notepad, you never know when those orgy tips will come in handy.

Dad jokes are the pun-tastic play on words that involve the kind of finesse that only comes from years of delivering jokes to an unsympathetic audience. The best thing is, you don’t even have to be a father to make Dad jokes. That’s the beauty of this timeless craft.

More than a coffee maker
A barista is more then someone who just makes your morning brew - they're your sunrise saviour, your shrink, your confidant and a bloody good multi-tasker we might add. Occasionally, when we find ourselves struggling to adult, a little heart to heart with our latte making friends seems to be just what the doctor ordered. There's nothing wrong with off-loading a little of life's dramas onto a near stranger, right? Heck we do it, coffee and a free therapy session sounds like a typical Monday for us.
Superman ain't got nothin' on Mum
Move over Superman, Mums of the world are here to save the day. Whether it be multi-tasking like an octopus on steroids or giving you answers to things you haven't even asked yet, Mothers always seem to be one step ahead of the game. Knowing more then google is just one talent they possess - they can cook, clean, give great advice and can throw one hell of a birthday party, they'll find absolutely anything and give the warmest hugs on earth but best of all, they love you like no other. We haven't always made it easy on them, but sure enough they've stuck by our side and we think they're pretty damn special for doing so. Here are a few reasons why Mothers are the best.
