Let the Good Times Roll
We hear music in the distance, a linger of laughter and the sweet scent of good food. The holiday season is rolling around and it’s getting hot in here! Pick up your friends, ‘cause we are going on the ride of a lifetime filled with dancing, unimaginable fun and endless laughter. Who’s in?
Raise a Glass
For the people making a difference, the communities getting involved and the hands giving help, we raise a glass. For the picnics Yet to happen, the shows we are yet to see and the food that we long to try, we raise a glass. No matter what life throws, this is our toast to enjoying the good and the little things in life. Fill your glass with wine, fill it with a cocktail, fill it with your favourite drink and cheers your glasses together.
Scandinavian Film Festival
After being 2020 covid cancelled, the Scandinavian Film Festival is back at Palace Cinemas around Australia showcasing the best new cinema from Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. Perhaps surprisingly, Scandi cinema does not just focus on Vikings and Thor/Loki but has a long history of making films that focus on the many intersections of society, families, politics, morality, history, religion, and ethics (don’t worry, they make comedies too).
The Sound of Life
Finding your sound is a big part of life. Whether it’s jazzy, rock and roll or something in between. We beat to the sound of our own music and that’s the score which creates our life. So surround yourself with a good beat, and get down to business because this is your stage now and it's time you lived like it.
David Gulpilil’s Incredible Life Story
A lone figure walks up a dirt road surrounded by fields of grass; an emu follows behind as thunderclaps in the distance. The figure is David Gulpilil and this film is his story. Directed by Molly Reynolds over several years, My Name Is Gulpilil is a cinematic memoir as told by one of the most incredible acting talents to ever emerge from Australia.
Look for Magic in Every Moment
Another week, another chance to enjoy life. Lay out a picnic rug, kick up your heels for a dance, or pick up some popcorn on your way into the theatre. We all have a love for something so why not share it with those who love it too?

Shall We Dance?
May the party get started and you find yourself dancing all night long. But don’t stop during the day. Whether you find yourself dancing in that new fit you’re feeling, your tongue dances to the taste of some new flavours, or your feet find some new moves on the d-floor, there is a dance for everyone on every occasion. Get up and get grooving, it’s about time we got moving.

A Good Guide Dedicated to the Brave and the Bold
They say that everyone is the hero of their own story, and these guys are no exception. The best of the best often shared a lot in common with each other, from their limitless bravery to their feats of selflessness, but each do so in their own way as you’ll see her, and by doing so, they inspire us to be good and better than what we’re capable of. So, let’s take a look at some of my favourites, shall we?
