The already bustling riverside dining destination, Eagle Street Pier, is welcoming a new foodie destination. Introducing, Rico Bar & Dining, your newest hotspot to hit up when you're craving Australian, Spanish and Latin flavours.

The new restaurant will be taking over the iconic Aria space, and will present Brisabane with a new modern, vibrant and affordable dining experience. Hidden Lanes Festival

Celebrating the pinnacle of fashion, art, food, music and entertainment that is The Lanes of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, The Hidden Lanes Festival returns on Saturday 26 October for its second year! The festival takes over the five laneways, activating each nook and cranny to highlight the 80 businesses that call them home. The music line up featuring over 50 incredible artists alongside the festivals five discovery trails.

From culinary delights to contemporary fashion and innovative artwork; families and music fans alike can explore the works of incredible creatives and meet the makers behind them.

The entire day-long celebration is FREE and will include a plethora of masterclasses, demonstrations, installations and music!

The Church of House: Groove Terminator

Want to celebrate Brisbane Festival's opening night with amazing grace?

Get ready to worship the gods of house music as The Tivoli transforms itself into a golden home of worship for an opening-night party that will raise its roof to the heavens.

Australian dance music royalty Groove Terminator will perform his legendary 90s ‘HOUSE 5 DJ’ mix live on stage, with singers from the Gospo Collective and Brisbane’s Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) forming the ‘Gospel Choir’.

With guest vocalists and an amazing line-up of DJ legends, this church will bring you to your knees! Can we get an AMEN?!

Chinese Moon Festival

With mercury in retrograde finally over, we can focus on the more positive things like this years Chinese Moon festival! This highly anticipated date in the Chinese lunar calendar marks when the moon is at its fullest, symbolising prosperity, happiness and family reunion.

Get ready to see Chinatown Mall come alive with Asian-inspired performances and festivities including lion dances, roving entertainment, traditional music and workshops.

Show your loved ones you care by adding their names to to a moon-shaped structure, symbolising closeness and holding people in their thoughts or enjoy the 20 meter long dragon dance.

Birds Of Tokyo "The Good Lord Tour"

It's been nearly three years since Birds Of Tokyo toured Australia, but luckily for us the band has announced another Aussie our coming up!

This September 18 catch the band play at the new Fortitude Music Hall and get lost in the tunes of the bands new tack "Good Lord."
