During the cooler months, some of us choose to hibernate while others choose to rug up, get out and milk this glorious city for all it's worth. If you're a pigeon like us, you love to spread your wings and fly high! Rain, hail or shine, exploring every nook and cranny on the grid is totally our thing. We're a lucky flock of birds as Brisbane is always producing new and exciting things for us to see and do. Local is lovely and this week there are plenty of lovely things us locals can do - how does feasting on copious amounts of dessert and cheese or indulging in a little retail therapy sound?

Woolloongabba gem, The Priory Kitchen, sits at the top of our Brisbane breakfast bucket list, and for good reason. The uber-chic cafe has got it all going on with it's cool-contemporary interior, super friendly staff, delicious bites and of course, mouth-watering coffee. Ahh yes, their coffee is so damn good, one cup just ain't enough. Brekky isn't the only thing they do well though, their lunch and dinner menus are just as tantalizing and, did we mention they also do cocktails?

The past 6 months have filled us with pure happiness in the form of food and booze with more restaurant, bar and cafe openings in Brisbane then we can count.
