This week we're turning Greek, Pan-Asian, Mexican and everything else in between (including obese) with the wide range of upcoming festivals, openings and events that'll leave us cultured AF. Settle in to a traditional 3 course dinner or cruise the streets of South Bank in search of burgers dripping with flavour - whatever you're up for we promise it'll satisfy those taste buds.
And just like that, another month is gone (holy cow). Brisbane, you've put on quite a show for the first half of the year and we have no doubt you'll continue to #wow us over the next 6 months. Forget dry July, mid-year diets and winter hibernation, there are mouth-watering espresso martinis to drink, along with carb-loaded meals waiting to be eaten and inspiring exhibits to wander through!
Premium river vistas, fine wine and fresh fare.
So you’re after somewhere new to have a delicious meal? Or in need of that perfect spot for weekend drinks with premium river vistas? Stokehouse Q is the perfect location for any occasion.
You're pretty damn cool Brisbane
During the cooler months, some of us choose to hibernate while others choose to rug up, get out and milk this glorious city for all it's worth. If you're a pigeon like us, you love to spread your wings and fly high! Rain, hail or shine, exploring every nook and cranny on the grid is totally our thing. We're a lucky flock of birds as Brisbane is always producing new and exciting things for us to see and do. Local is lovely and this week there are plenty of lovely things us locals can do - how does feasting on copious amounts of dessert and cheese or indulging in a little retail therapy sound?
New kids on the block
It's a good thing we're always hungry (and thirsty) 'cause this weeks Word On The Street sees the opening of several new, must-try menus, bars and eateries. Whether you're on a budget or have a sudden craving for your favourite European summer dish, we promise you'll find what you're looking for right here, in our beloved city. Put down the apron and step away from the fridge, we ain't cooking this week. Want to see the Best of Brisbane, and support local Brisbane based fashion, homewares, accessories, food, arts and crafts? Of course you do... there's a cool new event coming to town...
Sip Sip Hooray
We've got a few tasty treats for you in this weeks Word On The Street with the arrival of international eateries, penny-pinching cafes and enough coffee, beer and wine to keep you feeling oh so fine. We've also may have discovered Brissy's best breakfast on a budget spot and a little birdy told us the (cheap) secret to getting through the working week. It's all happening in the month of May so stay tuned..
