New Year, New Food
Welcome 2019! We're already two weeks into the New Year, and if you're anything like us, chances are you've probably already broken your New Years resolution to get fit, eat healthier and get out more. Still keeping it going? Don't worry, we've found so many delicious new dishes to eat on the Gold Coast this week that your diet isn't going to last much longer... Our Fave Spaces To Sip, Stay & Play In 2018
2018. It was the year of the Commonwealth Games, of going new places and trying all of the new places popping up on every corner. With so much to do, so much to see and so much to eat we were never short of things to do, so we thought we'd compile a list of all of our favourites from 2018. Whether it was watching a show, enjoying art or sipping champagne, we had a fabulous time last year!

Well, it's official - It's 2019! Over the past 365 days we've celebrated diversity at the Commonwealth Games, eaten our way around the Gold Coast, enjoyed theatrical talent at the Home of the Arts and spent way too much time at the beach soaking up the sun. We said goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019 with a bang, and now it's time to step into the new year and all of the magic that it will bring. 2019 already has shows, food, fashion and culture in spades - And we can't wait to see what else this year will bring!

We hate to break it to you, but Christmas is officially one week away! If you're anything like us and you haven't started your Christmas shopping yet, take a deep breath, ready your wallet and head out to the shops for some serious retail therapy. This week is sure to be pretty crazy, but if you have finished your Christmas shopping (and you've got a little change left over), why not head out to dinner at Burleigh's hottest new foodie space or grab the kids and relax with an evening of movies under the stars in Surfers Paradise? There's also a brand new coffee space opening in Marina Mirage soon - So don't worry, we've got your caffeine fix covered too! Let's go!

We know exactly where we're going this weekend - I'll give you a hint, it involves Rosé and Gin! Granddad Jack's Craft Distillery is opening their doors for exclusive Distillery Tours every weekend this year, and Cabana Bar & Lounge is kicking off Summer with a Frosé that's totally to die for, meaning your weekend plans are basically sorted! Need to get your Christmas shopping done first? The Village Markets in Burleigh Heads have that covered too... So kick back, relax and enjoy!

If your schedule isn't already packed with Christmas shopping, family events and work functions, you'll want to make some room for this weeks events. Seriously. With Christmas right around the corner (hello carols and Christmas decorations!), the Coast is turning it up, with plenty of super exciting events coming up to entertain everyone this school holidays! Head down to Marie Anita's and taste test their brand new Summer menu with your gal pals, or dress up and enjoy the finer things in life with the Sanctuary Cove Film Fest or HOTA's latest musical performance! There's plenty to eat and plenty to do... But what will you do first?

Get comfortable at Burleigh Brewing Co for their next evening of Movies Under The Stars - complete with popcorn and comfy chairs - Or unleash your inner chef with Masterchef favourite Georgia Barnes during a teaching session at The Kitchens Robina! Don't feel like cooking anything? Head down to Burleigh Heads for a serious night of eating at their BBQ Bazaar Night Markets!

What's better than a weekend of boozy brunches and beauty tips? Well - nothing, really. This sunny weather is perfect for a weekday brunch with the gals at the freshly opened Esco in Sanctuary Cove, but if you're more of a night owl and need to forget about your working week NightQuarter's Cocktail Festival is the place to go! And if you're looking to refresh your make-up and beauty in time for Summer? Look no further than the women's Beauty and Lifestyle Expo!

So are you a foodie, a fashionista or just here for a good time? The Coast has plenty of events on this week for basically everyone, throwing open its doors for foodies and fashionistas alike to enjoy everything that the Coast has to offer. If you're into the fashion scene, you'll want to get your shop on at The Marine Village this weekend (hint hint: They've got some awesome sales on), but if you're less into fashion and more into food then there's plenty for you as well, with a French Festival and a Friday Night Feast happening that's totally incredible!

Grab your gal pals - It's party time! There's nothing better than finishing off the working week with drinking, dancing and plenty of good times, and we know just the place to go. The only question is - Do you prefer Latin Dancing or fire juggling?

We're totally spoiled for choice when it comes to food and fashion on the Coast. Turn left and there's boutique retailers, turn right and there's dozens of delicious cafe's and restaurants! We've got something for the foodies, something for the fashionista's and something for those just wanting a quiet night in - The only question is, will you turn left or right?

Sometimes all you need to do in life is treat yo'self. Whether that's a pamper day, a brunch date with your gal pals or a night indulging in bubbles, we could all use a little TLC sometimes. If you're well over-due for a gals brunch, the new Sens Coffee Co in Broadbeach has your caffeine needs covered - But if you're after an evening out (and you can afford to splash out a bit), why not check out Byron's Champagne Dinner or the ever-mysterious Diner en Blanc?

Just in case you weren't aware yet - There's some seriously cool stuff going down on the Coast this week! We've got events from Coomera to Cooly, with the revival of Buskers by the Creek back for yet another year and the grand opening of Coomera Westfield this Thursday. Grab your gal pals and shop to your hearts content with a huge range of sales in just about every store in Westfield, or head down to Cooly Tavern for two days of art, music and entertainment in Australia's biggest busking Festival! Not a fan of art and music? Don't worry, Westfield has plenty of food too!
German, Gourmet & Gold Coast Fashion Week!
October is one of our favourite months of the year. Not only is it warm enough to go outside again, but every other restaurant is gearing up for Halloween and Oktoberfest! Beer and Bratwurst are around every corner, while the more fashion-forward of us are hitting the shops to check out all of the newest trends for the Melbourne Cup and Gold Coast Fashion Week! Of course, shopping is hard (and hungry) work - So why not hit up Crafted Festival next weekend before you go?
