Get Your Drink On At Baskk's Hot New Rum Bar

Where To Sip Rum This Summer

With Summer right around the corner, we're always looking for more places to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink after a long day or week. Offering beach-side views and a spectacular drinks menu, Baskk at Kirra Point has been one of our favourite places ever since they opened almost two years ago - And now with their brand new Rum Bar, they've just become a whole lot cooler!

Officially opening their brand new Rum Bar last week, Baskk's brand new space is complete with dusky pink, sandstone walls and plenty of plants, creating the perfect space towards the back of the restaurant to hide away after a long week at work and enjoy a couple of drinks.

Open on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm until late, amble in after a long day of work or play and perch yourself at the bar for an easy evening of incredible drinks, with a stunning range of cocktails and boozy desserts available to help cure your late night blues. Running in collaboration with the ever-popular Husk Distillers, you can expect plenty of delicious cocktails alongside tasting paddles, with incredible Mango & Lime Mojito's available and pouring all night long.

Not to be out-done by their truly impressive drinks menu, if you're feeling peckish you might delve into the world of their delicious bar snacks, with plenty of totally drool-worthy options to help stop the hunger. Serving up BBQ rum-glazed brisket bao, enormous buffalo wings and a cheeseboard featuring rum-infused olives and pickles, you'll find plenty of mouth-watering options to choose from... So why not pull up a seat, grab a drink and enjoy!

I'm a creative at heart - I love reading, I love writing and I love my social media! I spend the majority of my time sipping coffee and finding the next best cafe, but when I get a second off chances are I'll be brunching at my local or running off to whatever event is on that night! During Summer you can find me sipping coffee and tanning down by Burleigh Beach, and in Winter I'll be skiing the slopes of Perisher or buried under a mountain of blankets with chocolate and a good book.
