Can you believe it - We're halfway through February already! The New Year excitement has worn off, Valentine's Day has passed and we've settled into the day-to-day activities of life. Sometimes it can be hard to make it past Wednesday without a cocktail or two (or three), but don't worry - With a little help from a new Coomera cafe, a Comedy Festival and some seriously creative art, your week will be a whole lot more interesting in no time! Gold Coast Laughs Festival | March 17th - 24th @ HOTA

They do say laughter is the best medicine - So what better reason to enjoy a week of comedy shows at the Home of the Arts? Kicking off on March 17th, we can treat ourselves to eight incredible days of performances, with plenty of big names and local talent hitting the stage to knock our socks off! Featuring comedians such as Fern Brady, Phil Wang, Shit-Faced Shakespeare, Arj Barker, Fiona O'Loughlin and more, it's sure to be fabulous evening of food and fun - So why not grab your gal pals, book some tickets and enjoy a hilarious evening out!

New Coomera Bakehouse | Elk Bakehouse @ Coomera

Northern Gold Coasters, never fear - A brand new bakehouse is here! Opened in late November last year, Elk Bakehouse is the exciting new addition to the expanding Coomera foodie space, offering some seriously tasty Turkish baked goods all day long. Located on Commercial Street in the new Coomera City Centre, you can find Elk serving up everything from Cob Loaves to Cakes, with a constantly changing range of mouthwatering cakes and pastries hitting the shelves fresh every morning! Oh, and did we mention they have tea, coffee and Gluten-Free options as well? We'll see you there!

Sand Safari Arts Festival | Feb 8th - 24th @ Surfers Paradise

Good news everyone - Sand Safari Arts Festival is back in Surfers for another year! Kicking off in the beginning of February, for the last few weeks Surfers Paradise has been awash with all things beach, celebrating the Coast's beach culture with a huge array of incredible sand sculptures and plenty of crafting workshops to inspire your inner artist. Featuring everything from your traditional sandcastle to ocean creatures and more creative pieces, Sand Safari is the ultimate sand sculpture festival - So if you haven't made it down there yet, make sure you do!
