Markets and festivals and events, oh my!
The Gold Coast is home to some pretty epic markets, festivals and events. Over the coming weeks we will see brand new experiences popping up all over the Coast. Wanting to know what’s happening and where? We’ve done the research so you don’t have to!
Yot on the Dock | The Yot Club
There's truly no better location for Friday afternoon drinks than on a luxurious yacht docked in Southport. On Friday September 4th you'll be able to board for free, you just need to pay for your nibbles and drinks. The Yot Club is quickly becoming one of the Gold Coast's most popular drinking venues, so you better be quick to reserve your spot. Walk don't run!
Homecoming 2020 | BBQ Bazaar
You won’t want to miss the latest music festival to hit the Gold Coast: Homecoming. Some of the Coast’s most successful musicians will be hitting the stage from 12pm to 10pm on Saturday September 26th at Burleigh’s BBQ Bazaar. Listen to the tunes while grabbing some authentic eats from the food stalls. Tickets are only $30, but who can put a price on a good time anyway?
Crafted Beer and Cider Festival | Kurrawa Park
Live bands, food trucks and over 200 brews (all of my favourite things) will be rolling in to Kurrawa Park on September 12 from midday. So, round up your crew and bust out your best picnic blanket because this beachside festi is one you won’t want to miss.
Botanical Bazaar | Nerang
For the Gold Coasters with a green thumb, this festival-market hybrid will be the perfect way to spend your day on October 4th. You’ll be able to find hundreds of stalls showcasing the world of sustainable living, with green-inspires homewares, plants, workshops, celebrity gardeners and delicious food on offer. Tickets are just $16, walk don’t run!
Gold Coast Fashion Market | Coolangatta
Have you been wanting to clear out your wardrobe? Or perhaps wanting to buy some pre-loved goodies? Head down to the Gold Coast Fashion Market on October 10th where you’ll be able to bag a bargain. You can set up your own stall with your racks of unwanted pieces from just $55, there’s no better way to support your local community!
About the Author
I love all things fashion, food and travel. A holiday filled with drool-worthy food and Carrie Bradshaw-inspired fashion and I’m weak at the knees. Born in Brisbane and raised on the NSW far north coast, my passions and personal flair are influenced by a term I like to call “coastal-chic”. I’m a sucker for a rom-com (I don’t even want to think about how many times I’ve watched The Devil Wears Prada), but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
