ARTIST SPOTLIGHTING BIODIVERSITY | A BEE-UTIFUL FUTURE
Designer Penny Gale proves that sweet wildlife sketches are more than just pretty to look at. Fabriculture has been designing and producing fabulous fabrics and designs! The mother of two quickly discovered that a playgroup could identify a fox but not a bilby. Her savvy solution to this was to create a series of alphabetical flashcards highlighting our more unusual and vulnerable species. Gale’s wish is to create a culture where all of Australia’s natural heritage is celebrated and hopes to offer nature and art workshops later in the year, which would include making native beehives and nature journaling.
The wonders of our golden coast…much to do, many to see, having fun…and saving the bees!
