Long Weekend Inspiration
Explore, relax, discover, play
Not having to set that early morning alarm will always be one of the greatest feelings in the world. Long weekends are made for late nights and lavish days, so be sure to not waste your next long weekend with these relaxing ideas.
Get that sea breeze in your hair and soak up some sun on your next beach getaway. Fraser Island will always be the perfect place to four wheel drive or swim in crystal clear water. Top tip: Grab all your friends and rent a house, this will keep the accommodation cost down. Plus, who wouldn’t want to share the beauty of the island?

Up the mountain
For those looking to just switch off and relax, look no further than Mt Tamborine. Just a 45minute drive inland from Surfers Paradise and you are transported to another world of greenery and tranquillity. Visit the local markets, trek Curtis Falls or watch the sunrise in a Hot Air Balloon – it’s up to you. With so much to see and do, why not stay at a cute cottage or at one of the hidden B&B’s that the mountain has to offer?

For the romantics
Spend some quality time under the stars with your love while camping in the great outdoors. This is a great idea for any budget-conscious couple who need an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. P.S Don’t forget to bring the marshmallows.

Who needs GPS anyway?
If you can’t choose where to go or what to do, and are feeling adventures, leave the GPS behind (figuratively speaking, you may need to find your way back) and just drive. Be sure to check out the cafes and stores along the way - who knows what you’ll find when exploring!
