What’s on in Far North Queensland this May

After the year we’ve had, you have definitely got to be showing lots of gratitude for the return of concerts and events. Far North Queensland is ready to bring the entertainment that people have been missing and showcase the natural talent of Australia.

MAY 29-30

Fish D’vine is hosting a highly anticipated event with all the essentials for a perfect Long Lunch. Expect to see beautiful canapes, fresh oysters, sashimi and mojitos, while enjoying one of the best beaches in the world. I’ll drink to that! And if that wasn’t exciting enough for you, there is also the super rare and unique opportunity to skydive into the event! (yes I did say skydive).

This event calendar is all you need to stay, play, sit back and relax in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

Cairns Summer Sounds

MAY 8TH, & 22ND

After being rescheduled, Cairns Summer Sounds will be happening in May and we couldn’t be happier! The line-up includes performances from two of Australia’s biggest musicians, Tones and I and John Butler Trio. With good music in a great location, the positive vibes are set to be overflowing.

Sometimes the city life can be a bit hectic, so why not seas the day and travel to FNQ for a more relaxing pace and rejuvenation.

Kira Whitehand

An introverted extrovert who wants to be a journalist, but also a marketer; still trying to pinpoint my passion. If only astrology was real and could tell me what I should be doing. I wake up and fall asleep to music, so if I end up writing about it too you'll know I'm happy. Maybe not as happy as when I see a puppy, but pretty close. I find creative people the most interesting, so interviewing and writing their stories is so intriguing to me. Also, it could lead to backstage passes, so my priorities are definitely in the right order. I always get a wave from my local bubble tea lady as I pass by. She passes the vibe check.
